Konflux Theatre in Education's Play in a Day project has been touring to schools and youth groups across the United Kingdom since 1999. The project enables a group of Key Stage 2 or 3 students to work with a professional Director in the creation of a short piece of theatre.

Based on National Curriculum topics, the 10 - 15 minutes plays are produced in an ensemble style using inventive theatre techniques such as choral speech, stylised movement and mime.

Play in a Day is used variously to introduce and conclude topic work, to ease transition, to promote inclusion and for revision.
