This Play in a Day is for up to 35 KS2 or 3 pupils. The pupils will work with a facilitator throughout the day and have the opportunity to share a short performance to an audience of their choice at the end of the day.

Shakespeare's tale of dreams on a midsummer night depicts the adventures of four young lovers, a group of amateur actors in a moonlit forest and their interactions with the fairies who inhabit it. The play is considered to be a journey into fantasy and the surreal world.
Working together as actors to create a fun, action-packed short performance, informing as much as it entertains, students will delight in this accessible reworking of the Shakespeare classic.
We recommend some prior knowledge or introduction to Shakespeare or the chosen title for any class undertaking a Shakespeare Play in a Day®.
